• Where are you based?

  Our two studios are in Mumbai (Chembur) and Chandigarh (Sector 8-C). We work with clients across India and abroad.

• Do you travel for projects?

  Yes, we work with clients across India and abroad, and travel wherever the brief calls us.

• How do I begin?

  The simplest way is the Contact page. We respond personally within two working days and arrange a first conversation.

Interior Design

• What styles do you work in?

  Classical, neo-classical and modern, and frequently a quiet conversation between them.

• What is the typical timeline?

  Every project moves at its own pace. We share an indicative schedule once the brief and scope are clear.

Custom Furniture

• Can I commission a single piece?

  Yes. We accept individual commissions, subject to workshop availability.

• Where is the furniture made?

  In our own workshop, by craftsmen we have worked with for many years. Each piece is signed and numbered.

• Do you ship across India?

  Yes, we arrange shipping across India, and internationally on request.

Process

• What does the design process look like?

  Four acts, patiently paced, Discover, Design, Curate, Deliver. We begin with a long conversation and a site visit, develop the brief through drawings and material palettes, then move to workshop sampling and a managed install.

• How involved will I be?

  As involved as you wish to be. Most clients meet us at key milestones, brief, concept, material approvals and install, and we share progress between in a clear, considered rhythm.

• Who manages the site during execution?

  Our team supervises the site through to handover, coordinating contractors, vendors and finishing trades. You receive the keys to a finished, styled home.

Materials

• What materials do you typically use?

  Solid teak and walnut, Italian and Indian marble, brass and bronze cast in Moradabad, hand-blocked cottons from Bagru and Sanganer, cane, lime plaster and travertine. Each project carries its own palette.

• Where are materials sourced from?

  We source close to home where we can, working with artisans we have known for years, and farther afield only when a material truly asks for it.

• Can I see samples before approving finishes?

  Yes, all wood, stone, fabric and metal finishes are sampled and presented for approval before they enter the build.

Collaboration

• Do you work alongside our architect?

  Often, yes. We collaborate closely with architects, contractors and landscape designers, and step in at whichever stage of the build best suits the project.

• Can we bring our own artisans or vendors?

  Absolutely. We are happy to integrate trusted vendors into our process, while maintaining a single point of design accountability through the studio.

Consultation

• What happens in the first consultation?

  A long, unhurried conversation, ideally on site. We listen to how you live, walk the space, and talk about references, materials and the feeling you want the home to hold.

• Is the first consultation chargeable?

  The first conversation is on us. A more formal scoping visit, with measurements and a written brief, is billable and adjusted against the design fee should you choose to proceed.

• What should I prepare?

  Whatever helps you tell the story of the space, floor plans, photographs, references, and any heirloom pieces you wish to keep. We take it from there.

Pricing & Timeline

• How are fees structured?

  Most projects are on a percentage-of-cost basis with a clear minimum design fee, agreed up-front. We also work to fixed fees for defined scopes.

• Do you provide cost estimates early?

  Yes, after the first walk-through and brief, we share a transparent indicative range so we can plan together.
